Wincham-based PMI Health Group has picked up its second award this month after being named Best Group PMI Intermediary at the 2011 Health Insurance Awards.
The UK’s largest independently-owned specialist provider of employee healthcare and risk management services picked up the award – hot on the heels of winning Best Marketing Initiative at the Cover Excellence Awards.
Senior consultant Andrew Simpson was also highly commended in the Best Newcomer (Intermediary) category at a gala ceremony at London’s Grosvenor House hotel.
“To be recognised by two such prestigious awards programmes is a significant achievement and testament to the work of our staff, who work hard to provide customers with the best possible service,” said Richard Munro, PMI Health Group’s Managing Director.
PMI Health Group were recognised for helping clients to cut costs and achieve greater efficiencies through their integrated approach to employee healthcare.
Income Protection and PMI schemes are supported by PMI Health Group’s Managed Care service, a specialist nurse-led claims management team, helping staff to return to work more quickly.
Meanwhile, PMI Health Group’s in-house team of occupational health physicians and occupational health advisers provide pre-employment health assessment and medical reports for absent employees.
