Rio The 2016 Olympic Games are being held in Rio, Brazil this summer! And we have the aptly named ‘Rio’ up for adoption. She has been with us for over six months and we hope she gets a loving home very soon. As you can see, Rio is a very relaxed pooch, we didn’t think the feather boa would last a minute but she was happy to wear it along with the medal. We think Rio deserves a medal as she has spent a tenth of her life in kennels. She is a five-year-old cross breed, she loves people but would suit a home where she is the only dog. If you think you could offer Rio a place in your life, please come down to meet her at Cheshire Dogs’ Home! Johny Oi tudo bem?! Johnny was born in Brazil and lived there until the age of seven, he is now living at Cheshire Dogs’ Home. Luckily he is fluent in English so he doesn’t need a translator! Johnny is an eight-year-old neutered male, is well-behaved and loves human contact. He gets on well with adults and other dogs but would be happier living with older children and it would be beneficial for the owners to have experience of dog ownership, preferably beagles. We are aware that little Johnny would have spent up to 6 months in quarantine so we want him out of the kennels and into a loving home as soon as possible!
