NEW ADOPTION CENTRE MAKEOVER The recently refurbished temporary adoption centre got a massive clean up in November thanks to Zoflora, as a team of volunteers plus TV soap stars, Ali Bastian, Sarah-Jayne Dunne and Carley Stenson put on their rubber gloves to prepare the centre for opening. The block was thoroughly scrubbed out to create a happy and hygienic environment for the dogs to live in while they wait for their forever homes. The block includes a new grooming room, kitchen and two rows of refurbished kennels with a divider in between the rows so the doggy residents don’t get on each others’ nerves. CORPORATE DOGGIE DAYS Many of our corporate supporters send teams of volunteers as part of their workplace’s commitment to CSR. As well as walking, brushing and generally spoiling the dogs, they have also played an important role in donating food and equipment, planting bulbs, shifting boxes, wheeling barrows, trimming bushes and clearing weeds!
